The Challenge
My name is Sujan Katuwal and on Tuesday 16 January I set off on a 3000-mile walking challenge in support of Combat Stress, a charitable organisation dedicated to assisting Armed Forces and veterans coping with PTSD.
Having previously donated and delivered over 100,000 hot meals to key workers and some of society’s most vulnerable during the pandemic, I am now aiming to raise over £250,000 to bolster Combat Stress's crucial work and extend support to the homeless, a significant portion of whom are veterans.
The Cause
Combat Stress is the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. For over a century they’ve been helping former servicemen and women deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Today they provide specialist treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues.
When a veteran is having a tough time, Combat Stress are there to help tackle the past and to help them take on the future. Your donations will make a huge difference to the lives of the former servicemen and women who turn to them for support.
